Mission Statement
At Acting Out, we are dedicated to fostering creativity, confidence, and character development in young students through the art of acting and improvisation. Although we do have showcases at the end of most of our classes, getting to the end product is not our goal. Our classes aim to help all young students unlock their full potential learning techniques that will help them on and off the stage.
Allyson Mandelbaum
Allyson lives in Fairfield with her husband and 2 kids. She is a SAG eligible actress who grew up doing theater, voice and dance in CT, NYC and LA. She has worked for the past 15 years as a TV Producer and has experience in Children’s casting working for shows such as Sesame Street. She is so excited to be bringing her love of theater and movement to our young students who don’t have as many opportunities to act in the area.
Rebecca lives in Westport with her husband and 2 kids. She is a choral director and music teacher in Greenwich, CT, and has been co-directing and producing the musicals at her school for 6 years. Rebecca grew up loving to act, sing, and dance, and cannot wait to share this with her students in Acting Out!
